Chris Rock takes on terrorism on 'SNL,' Prince goes long and hot

The Internet is abuzz about two things from Saturday Night Live:

Host Chris Rock's monologue, which included 9/11 and the Boston Marathon.

He said the Boston attack was "the most scary, frightening, sadistic" one ever.

As for the New York City Marathon, taking place today, "What could go wrong now?"

Rock said he'd never enter the Freedom Tower, built to replace the Twin Towers,  for any reason.

"Does this building duck?" he marveled.

"I'm never going in there," he said. "I don’t care if Scarlett Johansson is buck-naked on the 89th floor in a plate of ribs."

Funny? Inappropriate? A bit of both?

And then there's eight-minute medley by musical guest Prince. Yes, we said eight minutes, not the usual two-song performance most artists deliver.

Think of the lip-synched Ashlee Simpson debacle of years past, and this is quite the opposite.

It's especially great since Prince has been skewered many a time on the show.
