Ben Affleck decides to discuss his 'Gone Girl' nude scene at televised awards podium

Ben Affleck took a hilarious, and very odd moment, to discuss his full frontal peek in the now infamous shower scene from Gone Girl.

Yes, it was the podium at the Hollywood Film Awards where Affleck accepted the best film award for Gone Girl and thanked director David Fincher. Yes, it was on national television.

Affleck thanked Fincher for "the way he treated me" during the scene which ended up a little too revealing for the star's liking.
"David assured me, 'Listen, if we tilt down, we'll never go far enough to see anything.' So thank you David. And I'd like to thank you for keeping the set cool. Because if you're going to have one chance for America to see your junk, you want it to be cold. That's a real gift."
You know you're not at the Oscars when the word "junk" is being thrown around acceptance speeches.

This was one intended comical moment in the televised awards. Johnny Depp's sloppy award introduction, earlier in the evening, was more of a surprise talking point.

Affleck also pointed out that he felt bold enough to write an awards acceptance speech on paper since there were no other nominees for the best film crown. That's just how the Hollywood Film Awards work.
"When they told me there were no other nominees, I felt cautiously optimistic."
Someday, his "junk" speech might fetch some money at auction.
