About that twist on 'How to Get Away with Murder' last night

Massive spoiler alert! The following contains details from Thursday's fall finale of How to Get Away with Murder

We're not totally sure who's getting away with what after the finale, which finally answered the question of who killed Sam but introduced another twist to keep fans chewing until the show returns. Here's what we know:

Wes killed Sam

After a fake-out involving Sam falling down the stairs (checking if people are dead is super important, guys), Wes clobbered him with the trophy to stop him from strangling Rebecca. It's not the most shocking of twists, but given the circumstances, it's a satisfying conclusion to the show's first big mystery.

Annalise totally knows about it

In the episode's most shocking twist, we discover that when Wes went back to get the trophy from the house, Annalise was there and didn't appear too broken up to see her cheating, potentially murderous husband lying dead on the floor. So, when she called Bonnie, and potentially when she went over to talk to Nate, she knew what happened.

What now?

Well, the cops are coming over to the house to question everyone, and that knowing look that Wes and Annalise exchanged has us wondering: Were Wes and Annalise in cahoots from the beginning? Was this an elaborate plan to get Sam out of the way? Or did Annalise just take advantage of what Wes had already done?  Fans have noted that it appears that the scales of justice may have been missing from the trophy when Wes picked it up off the blood-stained floor, so are they going to come back to haunt him? Will the Keating five be able to keep it together or is someone going to crack? Is Wes actually going to get away with murder?

Whatever happens, we cannot wait for this show to come back.
