James Franco bashes NYU's film program

James Franco is so proud of his NYU film students.

They directed a movie, The Color of Time, which stars himself, Jessica Chastain, Mila Kunis and Zach Braff.

But in a Facebook post in which he boasts about his students, he also delivers a smackdown of the university's film program:
"It's a great movie despite obstacles from the short sighted Nyu film program, and dean Campbell. If you want to go to film school, go to THE WEST COAST!"
Ouch.

For the record, Franco's alma mater is UCLA, where he's also taught classes.
