John Boyega eloquently responds to "black Stormtrooper" talk

The first actor to appear onscreen for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser, released Friday morning, is British talent John Boyega in a Stormtrooper costume. He's sweating, and looking confused to be on a sandy planet, presumably Tatooine.

It's that opening shot that launched the Twitter trend

, because some viewers were apparently surprised to see a black man don the white suit of armor.
