J-Law is an international pop star

On Saturday Night Live, Jennifer Lawrence said, "I don't really think anyone wants to hear me sing." She was so wrong.

The haunting song The Hanging Tree, which Lawrence sings as Katniss in Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, is turning out to be an unexpected international hit.

The song, which is performed by James Newton and features J-Law on the movie's soundtrack, currently sits at No. 2 on iTunes' top music downloads chart:

According to Billboard, the single is No. 14 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart, and it's No. 12 on ARIA's Australian Top 50 Singles Chart. It's expected to do well in the U.S. top-40 charts.
