This 'George Lucas cut' of the 'Star Wars' trailer is the worst

When the first teaser for Star Wars: The Force Awakens debuted on Friday, fans were pretty darn happy. Between the throwbacks to the original trilogy, the practical effects and that amazing Excalibur-esque light saber, the trailer was everything the much-maligned prequels were not.

But what if the teaser had everything we hated from the prequels? All the unnecessary CGI and the Jar-Jar and the random stuff in every frame? In other words, what if George Lucas had directed The Force Awakens?

Wonder no more because one clever YouTuber has re-imagined the teaser as Lucas might have directed it and it's the worst. But it's also the best.

We've never been so thankful for J.J. Abrams in our whole lives.
