Christian Bale weighs in on 'The Dark Knight Rises' ending

Spoiler alert! The following contains details about the ending of The Dark Knight Rises. 

We may have a new Batman coming soon, but that doesn't mean we've closed the book on the old one.

When The Dark Knight Rises ended, Alfred sits down in a European cafe only to see Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle having a nice lunch, even though Batman appeared to die in an explosion. So was it real? Was it a dream? Is Alfred just nuts?

Batman himself, aka Christian Bale, is weighing in on the subject:
