Jesse Tyler Ferguson puts a spin on 'Shake It Off'

The Taylor Swift takeover continues.

At Sunday's TrevorLIVE benefit, Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson added his own version to the growing list of covers of Swift's Shake It Off. Why was he covering it? Well the former Broadway star explained:
"If there’s anything that I learned from my 1989 it’s that—well, I was a 14-year-old closeted gay kid in Albuquerque, New Mexico in a Catholic school—so I learned to not care what people think, to be the courage to be who I wanted to be and right now I want to be a country-to-pop-crossover-sensation."
