The 5 best moments from Christmas in Washington

Christmas in Washington is always a stuffed stocking of musical treats -- and every year, you never know what you're going to get. In recent years, we've seen Psy go Christmas Style, multipleyears of Justin Bieber performances, and a red-velvet clad, pregnant-with-twins Mariah belt out One Child.

So what about this year? Here are our favorite moments from last night's event, which you can catch when it airs on TNT on Dec. 19 (8 p.m. ET/PT).

Earth, Wind & Fire switching up September to December

They were glitzy and glam and got the whole place -- President Obama and all -- jamming along to a medley of Winter Wonderland and December.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as host

He brought some jokes, and said he has always "felt an unspoken bond" with Obama. "One of us became an international symbol of hope," and the "other became the President." He also treated us to a little fa-la-la-la-la-ing, noting, "Eat your heart out, One Direction."

Hunter Hayes rocking out Run, Run Rudolph

Christina Perri singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

The First Family joining in on the singing for the grand finale

Look for lots of giggling between Obama and his daughters.
