Yes, that's really Seth Rogen's mom on Twitter, and no, James Franco won't respond to you
The Interview continues to make major news.
Will we ever see the movie? (OK, this reporter actually did, but as for the rest of you ...who knows?).
As noted previously, we sat down with James Franco and Seth Rogen in the midst of the Sony hacking fiasco, but before the film was shelved. And one of the topics we talked about was the actors' different stances on social media. Both are very outspoken, in disparate ways.
First of all, that's really Seth Rogen's social media-challenged mom on Twitter.
“For sure. She’s great. She’s pretty funny. I don’t help her and I don’t talk to her about it in real life,” says Rogen. “It is legitimately very entertaining. She’s like everyone’s technologically impaired parent. She doesn’t understand that it’s not a text situation.”
Franco doesn't engage. He just posts stuff he cares about.
“I don’t respond. The reason I don’t, is that I have to put it through somebody. I don’t trust myself. I’m very reactive,” says Franco.
Rogen says he's too passionate and is trying to keep things more toned down.
“I am too and I’m trying to stop doing that. I’m trying to be less engaging at times,” says Rogen. “Twitter is a writing medium which is why I like it.”
