Is this the end of the Azealia Banks-Iggy Azalea beef?
You may remember last week when Azealia Banks launched yet another attack against longtime rival Iggy Azalea. Tears were shed, tweets were traded, and other artists started taking sides in the cultural-appropriation debate.
Among them have been
Q-Tip and
, all of whom have come out in support of Team Banks...

...while Lupe Fiasco and
have championed Iggy.

Thanking both artists
Monday night, Iggy addressed the blowback she's received as a white Australian rapper:
Thanks Lupe and will.i.am, what you guys said was really nice and I appreciate it. Most people learn every and anything they can about the subjects they are passionate about, I'm no different. I find it patronizing to assume I have no knowledge of something I'm influenced by, but I've also grown up with strangers assuming that. So it's completely fine and I'm used to it by now. I don't lose any sleep over it.
She also told the haters that if they don't like her brand of "hip-pop," they don't need to buy it:
I'm also not going to sit on Twitter & play hip-hop squares with strangers to somehow prove I deserve to be a fan of or influenced by hip-hop. ... How you feel about me blending musical genres together doesn't bother me, no one is making you support or buy pop-rap albums. It's entirely up to you what you support and are interested in, thanks if you are interested in me and enjoy my music. I love to hear that!
And hey, guys. It's Christmas:

So while the debate is probably far from over (nor should it be), it may at least be coming to a holiday standstill.

Or maybe not...
