Yes, Jessica Chastain was sort-of Goth back in the day

Jessica Chastain is a sultry, Oscar-nominated red carpet stunner who's as divine in person as you would expect. She oozes confidence and glamour. And during her college years, she wore black lipstick.

Chastain, who graduated from Juilliard in 2003 with a B.F.A. degree, has a new film opening on Dec. 21, A Most Violent Year. We asked her: "What were you like when you were in school?" She told us:
I wasn’t very tortured. But I was very obsessive about work, which I still am. A lot of people went to (bars) and I think I went one time during school. I wasn’t really a partier.
She loved Julliard, she said, but does have some less-than amazing memories of her time there:
There was a lot of complaining. That's one thing I hated. To be honest, the people who were complaining the most were doing the least amount of work. That was something that really irritated me.
