Anthrax to record a song for the 'Game of Thrones' mixtape

The Game of Thrones mixtape this year looks to be even more hardcore.

Thrash metal band Anthrax joins the lineup for the season 5 mixtape of Game of Thrones. The band seems pumped to appear on the compilation -- which last year featured hip-hop artists like Common, Big Boi and Daddy Yankee -- posting this photo to its Facebook with the hashtag #CatchtheThrone:

Who knew that a medieval fantasy show would have such a metal following? But Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian has the answer:
