This is what 'Back to the Future Part II' predicted 2015 would be like

Welcome to the future, guys.

That's right, it's officially 2015, which means that we're in the future of flying cars and hoverboards, according to Back to the Future Part II. The classic film sent Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly to Oct. 21, 2015, and it was a whole new world for the 80s kid.

Now while they got some parts of the future right (we may not have a Jaws 19 but we are doing Star Wars Episode VII...) they definitely got some things very wrong. Here's how the movie imagined 2015 might look like:

We also drive flying cars

While wearing our self-tying sneakers

Dehydrated pizza is definitely a thing

Now, validly, Marty was experiencing Oct. 21 of 2015. So we've still got more than eight months for the world to look like this. And we kind of hope it does since, you know, we really want a hoverboard.
