Anne Hathaway gives Neil Patrick Harris Oscar-hosting advice

Even Anne Hathaway knows what a trainwreck her 2011 Oscar-hosting gig alongside James Franco was. And she's got some advice for the 2015 Academy Awards host: Don't do what she did.

In an interview with New York Times Magazine, Hathaway talked about her Oscar haters and the disastrous hosting gig that left her trying too hard and Franco not trying at all. To Neil Patrick Harris, she just had this to say:
Do the opposite of what I did, and you’ll be fine. I think it’s so obvious that it doesn’t even need to be identified. He’ll be great. He’s a natural host.
And she also had a good answer for why she thinks she got all the hate after winning her own Oscar for Les Miserables:
Oh, I think you can’t answer that and be a self-respecting person.
