Jamie Dornan fears for his life after '50 Shades' role

50 Shades of Grey is out next month, and it's set to put Jamie Dornan on the map as Christian Grey.

But not all fans of the bestselling book series thought he'd be the best actor for the role, with a lot of people rooting for Matt Bomer.

And the pressure has got Dornan a little worried -- for his life!
“I almost don’t want to put this out there into the ether, but I fear I’ll get murdered, like John Lennon, by one of those mad fans at the premiere," Dornan tells of Details magazine. "Because a lot of people are very angry that I’m playing this character. And I’m a father now, and a husband. I don’t want to die yet.”
Joking about his newfound fear, he says, "And when I do get murdered, people will say, ‘God, isn’t it haunting how he did that interview in Details magazine and predicted his own death on the red carpet?’”
