'Paddington' premiere: Bear snags Nicole Kidman from Keith Urban

Paddington, the film adaptation of the popular English children's book series, had its Los Angeles premiere Saturday morning at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Of course, star Paddington Bear was there to ham it up on the carpet. (The usually talkative bear wouldn't take interviews, because he "has laryngitis," said his handler.)

One thing he would take, however, was his gorgeous co-star Nicole Kidman — who plays villain Millicent in Paddington — from husband Keith Urban. The pair posed for a few playful pics.

Kidman wasn't by Paddington's side for long, though. After a quick photo shoot, she quickly linked back with Urban, who held her for almost their entire carpet walk.

We tried to ask Urban if he felt threatened by Kidman admirers Paddington and Jimmy Fallon, but a publicist stepped in.

Paddington hits theaters Jan. 16.
