So THAT's why the 'Entourage' guys hit the Globes red carpet so early

It seemed a little strange that the stars of Entourage were running around on the Golden Globes red carpet before Ryan Seacrest had even done his first E! interview.

Turns out it was a meta moment. They were filming scenes for the upcoming Entourage movie. And it makes sense since the trailer is meta, too.

Kevin Connolly and Emmanuelle Chriqui did a mock interview with Carson Daly, reports E! And Adrian Grenier, Jerry Ferrara, Jeremy Piven and Kevin Dillon are did some red carpet shooting.

Here's writer/director Doug Ellin getting in on the act.

And fans were included, too.

Entourage is slated to open June 5.
