'Gone Girl' author: Sequel could happen 'at some point'
Gone Girl, in both the book and the movie, had something of an interesting ending. And while many fans thought that might be the very last we ever see of Nick and Amy Dunne, the book's author (and writer of the movie's screenplay), Gillian Flynn, is open to revisiting those crazy kids.
Speaking to New York Daily News she said:
"There could be a sequel at some point if everyone is game to get the gang back together, it could be really fun a few years from now to pick it up and see what those crazy Dunnes are up to a few years down the road and if they got on — not well I don’t think."
But, it would have to be on one condition:
"I would have to have the exact same people to do it — I would want Rosamund (Pike), Ben (Affleck) and (David) Fincher to do it."
We don't know if we're excited or scared to see what Nick and Amy have been up. But we'd definitely go see a sequel.
