Fans overjoyed that Harper Lee is publishing a 'To Kill a Mockingbird' sequel

Book fans, drop what you're doing because a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird is hitting bookshelves in July.

That's right, the book that everyone had to read in high school (but you totally loved doing it) is getting a follow-up from author Harper Lee that will follow Scout as an adult woman, called Go Set a Watchman.

The news has put fans in a tizzy as they celebrated and, of course, made the obligatory Mockingbird 2: Electric Booglaoo jokes. Oprah Winfrey, in a statement sent to Paste BN via email, said:
"I couldn’t be happier if my name was Scout."
Others took to Twitter to express their joy.

Fans explode in happiness

Who knew the world had so many Harper Lee jokes to make?

And then there were the sequel jokes...

And don't worry, someone made the 'Electric Boogaloo' joke before you did
