'Agent Carter' got kind of creepy last night

Spoiler alert! The following contains spoilers for Tuesday's episode of Agent Carter

Agent Carter continued its run with another great episode Tuesday night, complete with the return of the Howling Commandos from Captain America: The First Avenger, an adventure in Russia and the SSR probably finding out Peggy was working with Howard Stark. But as eventful and exciting as all of that was, we can't stop thinking about the mountain of creepy that is Peggy's neighbor Dottie, aka Black Widow 1.0.

Not exactly finishing school...

The show gives us back story into the world's worst boarding school, where Dottie and other very young girls sleep handcuffed to beds, are trained with subliminal messages in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and also kill each other (this show is not shy when it comes to violence). In one particularly haunting moment, young Dottie shares a piece of bread with her bunk mate (literally breaks bread with her) and then kills the same girl without hesitation a few scenes later. The show then switches to the present, where Dottie and Peggy are grabbing breakfast together, and Dottie offers Peggy half of her baguette. And we officially have goosebumps. Thanks, Dottie.

Breaking and entering

Later, Dottie breaks into Peggy's apartment and finds some of the intel on the stolen Stark inventions, but not without creepily staring at a photo of Steve Rogers (pre-Captain America! Remember that CGI skinny Chris Evans?) and then pretending to be Peggy in the mirror. And now we are definitely shivering.

These handcuffs aren't for Fifty Shades of Grey

And then, as if all that weren't enough to give us nightmares, the episode closes out with Dottie getting into bed for the night, but not before she handcuffs herself to it. Yes, you read that right. Not only is Dottie a dangerous killer, she's also kind of insane. And now we're straight up hiding under the covers.

All things considered, we're glad that Dottie is turning out to be such an interesting villain, since the guys we've seen from Leviathan so far have been threatening to Peggy but not much else. We can't wait to see what happens when Peggy and Dottie finally confront one another.
