Watch the first (very dark) trailer for Netflix's 'Daredevil' series

If we learned one thing from the first full trailer for Netflix's new Marvel show Daredevil, is that this is definitely not the campy Ben Affleck movie. This is a dark, gritty hero on a mission to "make my city a better place." Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock spends most of the trailer confessing sins he has yet to commit to a priest, while we see flashes of both Murdock and Daredevil in action, all in a palette that's way darker than what we've seen in any Marvel movie or show so far (although, maybe Avengers: Age of Ultron will give it a run for its money in May).

We're definitely excited to see this new side of the Marvel universe. The entire Daredevil series drops on Netflix on April 10.
