'Arrow' pretty much destroyed its fanbase last night

Spoiler alert! The following contains spoilers for Wednesday's episode of Arrow. 

Well that wasn't quite the reunion we were expecting.

Oliver returned to Starling City on Wednesday's episode of Arrow, and fans got a whole 30 seconds of the happy reunion they were hoping for between Oliver and Felicity, who he had (finally) told he loved right before he went off to face his inevitable doom. The moment was pretty great:

But then it all went wrong

Oliver declared his intentions to work with Malcolm Merlyn to defeat Ra's al-Ghul, and Felicity was not super crazy about Oliver working so closely with a known mass murderer. The two got into a fight, and Felicity broke the hearts of a million fans with this monologue:
"The last thing you said to me was that you love me. Now you're back and the first thing you tell me is that you are working with the man who turned your sister, a woman that you're supposed to love, into a killer. Who killed a woman you used to love. I don't want to be a woman that you love."

Fans, were, uh, a little upset about Felicity's declaration:
