Kristen Stewart has a message for all the 'Twilight' haters out there
While plenty of people in the world really love the Twilightbooks and movies, there are plenty of people who really, really don't.
But the haters of the teen vampire franchise don't bother Kristen Stewart, who is still most known for playing Bella Swan in the movies. In an interview with Patti Smith for Interview Magazine (yes, that Patti Smith), she explained that she's still pretty darn proud of the films:
"Anybody who wants to talk (expletive) about Twilight, I completely get it, but there's something there that I'm endlessly, and to this day, (expletive) proud of. My memory of it felt — still feels — really good."
Stewart went on to say that Twilight is inevitably a part of who she is as an actress, and is a part of her performances in movies like Still Alice where she acts opposite the Oscar-nominated Julianne Moore:
"A little bit of me is in every single one of (my movies), and it's part of my own personal growth. I don't think that there's much hiding that actors can do. If you're doing good work, you're showing a part of yourself to someone, so I can't say that Twilight doesn't have anything to do with Still Alice and Sils Maria. They have everything to do with each other. They are who I am."
Now that is one of the most positive attitudes we've ever heard. Way to be, KStew.
