So, how does 'Selma' star David Oyelowo REALLY feel about that Oscar snub?

When the Oscars are handed out on Sunday, one name that won't be called is David Oyelowo, who played Martin Luther King in Selma.

We caught up with him, and other stars like Blair Underwood, Louis Gossett Jr. and Bill Duke at Icon Mann's Black Men in Film pre-Oscar celebration at Mr. C Beverly Hills to talk diversity, Hollywood and that Oscar snub.

But, you shouldn't expect Oyelowo to be bitter about being left out of the race for Oscar. In fact, he told us that the uproar over his lack of a best-actor nomination epitomizes an all-press-is-good-press moment.
'Selma' is a big moment for me. I've been in a lot of movies, but never one where I'm front and center in this way. (It's nice) just how kind people have been about what they feel should have happened awards-wise. ... It's a all a reflection of how they feel about the film and what I do within the film. That's money in the bank. You want to build a following, a group of people who like your work. This is a big moment for me, and it's reflective of the fact that people hopefully want to see me do more work.
Now, that's a glass-full kinda guy!
