Rain tries to ruin the Oscars

It's pouring on the Oscars.

Tents are up, but it's still making for a soggy red carpet. Pink towels are being handed out to wet arrivals.

"It's a bit squishy," said Benedict Cumberbatch to ABC's Lara Spencer. Not too much later, Spencer jumped while talking to Naomi Watts, saying, "There's a hole in the roof!"

Felicity Jones told Paste BN's Andrea Mandell that she didn't mind it.“It’s kind of appropriate. It’s always the big awards. It seems to start raining.”

Michael Keaton accepted the pouring rain with a sense of wonderment. “How cool is that? I was hoping somebody would get drenched, because that’s never happened,” he told Mandell.

Ryan Seacrest worried about his hair.

Brooke Burke didn't have to care about anything.

Did Anna Faris start the #wetredcarpet hash tag?

Maybe hubby Chris Pratt did.

Remember #Oscarssowhite? How about #Oscarssowet?

Oscar viewing parties didn't escape it.

But it did slow things down.
