Winning the best supporting actress Oscar for her poignant turn in Boyhood, Patricia Arquette used the stage to take a stand for wage equality.
To every woman who gave birth to every taxpayer and every citizen of this nation, we have fought for everybody else's equal rights. It's our time to have wage equality once and for all and equal rights for women in the United States of America.
Amazing, right? The audience erupted with cheers, but it's safe to say no one was more thrilled than Meryl.



Gah! We love them both. And we're definitely not alone.
