SNL's Pete Davidson shares 3-month-old letter from Bill Clinton
Though Saturday Night Live added featured player Pete Davidson back in September, the comedian only just received a letter of congratulations about his new job... from Bill Clinton. The letter is postmarked November 25, 2014.
Davidson tweeted out the letter, which looks legitimate. It says:
Dear Pete:
I recently read an article about your career and deep family connection to service in the city. As a fan of 'Saturday Night Live,' I want to congratulate you on joining the cast–I can only imagine how excited you must be, both as a comedian and a lifelong New Yorker.
All my best wishes for continued success.
Sincerely,
Bill Clinton
That "deep family connection to service in the city" Clinton references is Davidson's late father, a firefighter who was killed in 9/11.
"Thank you so much Mr. Clinton!" Davidson tweeted.
