Dakota Johnson's most controversial 'SNL' sketch wasn't about 'Fifty Shades'
Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson got pretty positive reviews for her first time hosting Saturday Night Live (go to the bottom of the page for her best sketches). Clearly, her mother, Melanie Griffith, was proud:
But one of the actress' sketches has stirred controversy. Johnson played a daughter in a spoof commercial. She said goodbye to her father, Taran Killam, as he dropped her off so she could join... ISIS.
The fake ad parodied this Toyota Camry ad, which still makes us cry when we watch it:
The ISIS sketch satirized how teen girls are joining the terrorist group, but some vocal SNL viewers didn't find the spoof very funny:
