Christopher Plummer on 'Sound of Music': 'I can't get rid of the bloody thing'

Back in the day, Christopher Plummer might have never imagined he would be helping to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Sound of Music today. Plummer -- who of course played Captain Von Trapp in the movie -- once famously referred to the iconic movie musical as "The Sound of Mucus."

But in an interview with Paste BN's Elysa Gardner, Plummer spoke affectionately of the film, and of co-star Julie Andrews -- still a good pal -- who was "at her most natural" in it. He couldn't help but joke a little, though:
"It still hangs over my head like an albatross. I can't get rid of the bloody thing. But I've learned to behave myself about it."
Andrews also talked to Paste BN about the film that made her a star.
