'Downton's Lily James is pure perfection at 'Cinderella' premiere

Downton Abbey fans know her as the recently hitched Lady Rose, but in real life, actress Lily James is having her Cinderella moment — quite literally!

She plays the title character in Disney's upcoming live-action version of the classic fairy tale, and stepped out last night for the film's Los Angeles premiere, where she killed it on the red carpet:

Her Elie Saab dress is like a modern-day Cinderella fantasy gown, but we're obsessed with her Charlotte Olympia Time Piece clutch — such a cute nod to the whole the-magic-only-works-until-the-stroke-of-midnight bit, isn't it?

Oh, and James isn't the only face fans of the Masterpiece Theater hit will recognize: Downton's Daisy comes out of the kitchen to play one of the evil stepsisters.
