Celeb jeweler Neil Lane: When 'Bachelor' couples split, the bling goes to 'ring heaven'

Tonight, we'll all be waiting and watching the Bachelor finale to see who Chris Soules picks and, of course, which sparkling Neil Lane ring he'll slip on her finger if/when he proposes.

Naturally, we're wishing Chris and the (possible) future Mrs. Soules all the best, but we are curious about one thing: If they do break up, what happens to that engagement ring?

To get answers, we went straight to the source: Neil Lane.

When we visited the celebrity jeweler, who's outfitted A-listers like Jennifer Lopez, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara and Amy Adams in his Hollywood store, he explained that once the guy chooses the ring he wants, that ring's destiny is literally in that bachelor or contestant's hands:
I make these rings with love and compassion, and really hoping that these people stay together. And, what happens afterwards? I don't know. If they break up, the ring, it goes to ring heaven. There are a bunch of rings in ring heaven and God is watching them -- and probably trying them on!
