Sam Smith sings with John Legend. It's as beautiful as you'd imagine.

Sam Smith and John Legend's version of Lay Me Down may be the official single for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, but there's nothing funny about this gorgeous duet from the two singers.

The video for the track shows Smith and Legend recording Smith's song together, with Legend at the piano and Smith standing at a microphone. "We've been looking forward to working together for a while now," Legend says.

The two singers will perform Lay Me Down together Friday during the BBC One live broadcast of Comic Relief - Face the Funny. All profits from the track's sale will benefit Comic Relief, which works to change the lives of poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged people across the U.K. and Africa.
