Ron Burgundy crashes Justin Bieber's roast to pay classy respect

Justin Bieber might not feel like he has a lot of friends in the world right now after the Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast filmed on Saturday night in Los Angeles.

But he has Ron Burgundy.

The bombastic alter-ego of Will Ferrell crashed the roast midway to pay his respect to the Biebs, who looked nervous on the podium before, during and after the pummeling he took from the likes of Shaquille O'Neal, Snoop Dogg and even Martha Stewart.

But Burgundy swigged Scotch from a glass at the podium and stood by his pop star.
"Listen, I’m going to cut to the chase, Justin Bieber. You’ve  been taking it on the chin tonight. In fact, absolutely abused. I'm here to say one thing, you people don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. As far as I am concerned, this guy is doing it right."
Burgundy went through a laundry list of Bieber's offenses -- from drag-racing to egg-throwing -- to point out his true respect.
"This kid has spunk , moxie and probably a few other STDs. I’ve always encouraged people to stay classy. And what’s more classy than hanging out with (controversial boxer) Floyd Mayweather? Would I love to see Biebs spending time with Oscar Pistorious? Of course I would. That day will come."
In fact, Burgundy even said that Bieber, who just turned 21, needs to go crazier.
"If anything Justin Bieber. Not only do you need to continue to live your life with the same reckless abandon. I suggest you even turn up the heat."
Well said, Ron Burgundy. Well said.
