Eva Mendes says sweatpants cause divorce

We know that a lot of things can lead to marital troubles.

Cheating. Money disagreements. Parenting issues.

But now Eva Mendes is letting us in on another top leading reason for breakups.
"You can't do sweatpeants .... Ladies, number one cause of divorce in America, sweatpants! No! Can't do that."
She says her style is "feminine," although she admits she will wear pants - "figuratively and literally." But she adds, "I feel much more comfortable in dresses or a skirt."

New mom Mendes imparted this wisdom to Extra’s AJ Calloway, as she talked a little bit about her new bundle of joy, daughter Esmeralda, six months, with Ryan Gosling.

The actress, 41, confessed she’s getting some sleep these days, but not as much as she'd like, saying the baby sleeps through the night, for the most part.

"But you never know, right, something random can happen and she’s just suddenly not sleeping through the night and you’re like, wait, I thought we were sleeping through the night, what’s up?!”  She laughed, “Why does it always happen at three or four in the morning?!”
