Watch Vin Diesel give an emotional tribute to Paul Walker at a 'Furious 7' screening

While plenty of fans are incredibly excited for the upcoming seventh installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, the death of star Paul Walker still looms heavily over the lead up to the film's April 3 premiere.

At an advanced screening of the film, Vin Diesel gave Walker an emotional and touching tribute.

"This was a labor of love. It was in some ways the hardest movie I ever had to do,” Diesel said. “Because the relationships that you see on film are so real. When the tragedy happened, I lost my best friend. I lost my brother. Tonight…”

At that point he became too emotional to go on, but the fans in the audience chimed in, shouting “You’re the man," “Love you, V” and “You got family here, Vin." Diesel replied, “Oh, I love that.”

He finished with these words:
"What can I say, guys. Thanks for being my family. Thanks for always taking care of us. Thanks for believing in us. ... Please know that we made this movie from our hearts, and know that this is our gift to you. And more importantly, it’s for my brother there. Let it be the legacy we know he deserves.”
