Apparently the time is 'meow' for a 'Super Troopers' sequel

This may be the most important movie news of the day, people: The men of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe are getting in their squad cars and growing bad cop mustaches once again for a sequel to the 2001 cult classic Super Troopers.

The rub: The guys are asking for a cool $2 million to crowdfund the movie via an Indiegogo campaign. (Beware some saucy language on their page.)

So if you're up for another round of watching the Vermont state troopers stumble and bumble through cases, chug maple syrup, get sugar showers and play the "meow game" — where the cops try to say "meow" more than their partner after pulling someone over — then toss some cash into the kitty.

Depending on how much fans chip in, they can view the shooting script, grab a 'stache, compete in the first Beerfest Tournament (only for those really good at beer pong) and, if you donate $35,000, drive home in a patrol car used in the movie.

It seems a lot of people are down for more misadventures near the Canadian border — the sequel has raised almost $1 million in seven hours.
