Why is Ryan Reynolds beating up Mario Lopez? One word: 'Deadpool'

Nerds can have their April Fools' Day jokes, too.

In a faux Extra interview with Mario Lopez, Ryan Reynolds struggles with the fact that Lopez seems to think his upcoming superhero flick Deadpool is family-friendly fare.

After about a minute of awkward bantering, Reynolds appears in costume as the mercenary mutant Deadpool and slams him with a huge, painful-looking piece of lighting equipment. Then he says what we were all thinking: "(Bleep) you, Slater."

That, and, of course, that the movie will be rated R.
