Surprise! Lots of people tried to lick the Chocobatch

Everyone wants a piece of Benedict Cumberbatch, but only a few lucky London shoppers actually got a taste.

A taste of Chocobatch that is! The life-sized chocolate statue of the Sherlock star and all-around hunk was placed in the middle of the crowded Westfield Stratford shopping mall in London by UKTV as a publicity stunt to see who would bite. And thanks to a hidden camera, we see that a lot of people did. People posed with, licked and broke off fingers of the delicious statue -- and one woman even took a piece of his nose.

You feel kind of bad for the eight-person team that made the 6-foot statue with love and 500 pieces of Belgian chocolate bars over the course of 250 hours, but at least those London shoppers got a small taste of Chocobatch heaven.
