Giuliana Rancic's ex throws a little shade her way on 'WWHL'

Jerry O'Connell stopped by Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday, and host Andy Cohen couldn't help but ask what the actor thought about ex Giuliana Rancic revealing he cheated in her book, Going Off Script.

And while O'Connell admittedly didn't want to be negative, he certainly felt the need to remind us of who his ex-girlfriend is.
For those who don't know, Giuliana Rancic is a personality on another network, on E! and wrote a book.
We know! Thanks for the refresher! O'Connell went on talking about their relationship:
We dated, and then we didn't date. I was in the book. I didn't think that much of it. She's a very nice girl.

Which was just how Rancic warned us that the actor could behave in a excerpt from her book as reported by E!:
He has as much emotion as the customer-service representative who tells you your bags missed the flight.
In fact, this is how she said he ended it:
Sorry, homegirl. Things change, but you take care, OK?
So how does O'Connell feel about his former flame now?
I don't want to say anything negative. She's a very nice girl. We had a very fun time. It was decades ago, I mean I don't believe cellphones were in use then. It was like horse and buggy. It was a while ago.
The couple actually dated in the early 2000s – you know, when this show was on.
