Kate Hudson celebrated her 36th birthday with a bang.

The theme? "Hot Mess."

To make matters, um, better, it was actually a "threesome birthday party" with writer Derek Blasberg and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, who's married to Tobey Maguire.

First of all, we can't believe Hudson is 36. Forget "hot mess" -- she just looks hot.

Oh, and Jessica Alba was there, too, also looking gorge.

And it sounds like the party was a success: Meyer took to Insta to post the same pic as Hudson, along with the caption, "Clearly needing to recover from last night with my two birthday babies."
