'Avengers' poll: Guys would call Black Widow for help, women prefer Captain America

For those who've been lost in Avengers Tower for a while — and that place is TOTES CRAY, so it's not out of the realm of possibility — Avengers: Age of Ultron has finally hit theaters and the good guys are back, with Whedon-esque one-liners and fan buzz galore, to take on evil robot Ultron for the fate of the world. Because when aliens, supervillains, insane machines and other nutty stuff threaten the Earth, who else are you gonna call?

Everybody's got their favorite superheroes, though, so we teamed with the fine folks at Fandango for a poll asking several thousand Age of Ultron ticket-buyers which Avenger they'd choose to save them from certain doom.

The results? One gender likes their secret agents Russian and red-haired while the other prefers a dude who's all about the stars and stripes. And even though he's arguably the best Avenger, poor Hawkeye's not high on anybody's list.
