Chris O'Dowd is pulling a long and crazy prank on his newborn son

In the world of pranks, there are long cons, and then there are cruel jokes that will scar your kids for life. This one probably falls somewhere in the middle.

Chris O'Dowd (of The IT Crowd and Bridesmaids) stopped by Conan Tuesday night to talk about the longest April Fools' joke ever (probably). His 15-week-old son, whom he supposedly loves and adores, is the subject of a long running joke that he hopes will pay off someday. Whenever Chris goes on a walk with him in the park, he would take a picture of his son with a random family he finds there. Chris then plans to place the picture in picture frames behind real family photos, ripe for accidental discovery someday.

Well, that's one way to give your kid an existential crisis.
