Idris Elba breaks a land speed record -- in a Bentley

Question: How do you make Idris Elba -- you know, THE Idris Elba -- any cooler than he already is? Answer: Have him break an 88-year-old U.K. land speed record in a Bentley.

Yup, that's right the man who is not playing James Bond for reasons passing understanding, drove 180.36 mph in Wales, according to a news release from Bentley, breaking the existing record of 174.8 mph set by Sir Malcolm Campbell (like seriously this already sounds like a Bond film!). The endeavor was filmed for an upcoming four-part Discovery Channel series, Idris Elba: No Limits, which we assume means he'll also be breaking some more records and drinking more champagne.

So like, maybe if Bond is out of the picture, he could get his own Fast and Furious movie? Like just of him driving fancy cars and smiling at us? That would be great, thanks.
