Aw! Emma Stone says her 'heart swells' at Andrew Garfield's poetic words

Love may have died the day Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield went on a break, but at least Emma doesn't seem to have any hard feelings about it.

In an interview with fellow Woody Allen muse Diane Keaton for Interview Magazine, Emma opened up about her love of theater and East Coast summers, but it was her kind words for maybe-ex Andrew that turned our heads.

Keaton asked about a quote Garfield used to describe Stone: "Working with Emma was like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides. From the start. To the end. Spontaneous. In the moment. Present. Terrifying. Vital. The only way acting with someone should be."

Us common folk would be floored hearing someone describe us like that, but Emma naturally laughed it off:
"He is such a poet. (laughs) But that's the way he writes in general. So I hear it and of course my heart swells up. And I also know that he writes things like that on a daily basis."
Emma and Andrew went "on a break" back in April, and while we're still in mourning, the two of them seem to be just fine (and maybe on the way to patching things up again?? We can dream). Though now we know it'll take more than a few flowery verses for Andrew to win her back.
