We hope the newly crowned American Idol was taking notes. We know and love J.Lo for her incredible dancing and fun upbeat songs, so it's always a treat when she slows it down and shows off her voice.

And on Wednesday night's Idol finale (the second-to-last one ever!), she gifted us with a flawless cover of Rihanna's Diamonds. While wearing a dress that was basically just sparkly jewels, because if you had the body of Jennifer Lopez, wouldn't you exclusively wear diamonds instead of clothes?

As an added bonus, she joined fellow judges Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.  to take on Bruno Mars' Locked Out Of Heaven — though, let's be real, it should've been J.Lo on the lead vocals. But the trio of judges sounded nice together, and they got the approval of one special audience member.
