Evil Sandra Bullock pops up in new 'Minions' trailer

Where did the minions come from, anyway? The latest trailer for the Despicable Me spinoff Minions follows the little yellow mischief-makers throughout recorded history — turns out, they've been alive longer than we have.

The minions travel through time serving (and accidentally killing) the biggest, baddest villains they can find, including a T. Rex, Napoleon and Dracula.

And finally, in the year 46 B.G. (Before Gru), they make their way to London and join forces with supervillan Scarlet Overkill (hi, Sandra Bullock!) to steal Queen Elizabeth's crown.

Catch Minions in theaters on July 10.
