One Direction makes first post-Zayn TV appearance and it's ... awkward
James Corden poured a little salt in the wound when he asked One Direction about their state of Zayn-lessness when they appeared on his show Thursday night.
"We should talk about the fact that there are now four of you here on this sofa," he started, "where there has always been five, because Zayn Malik has left the band."
Harry Styles, pretending to be surprised, re-counted the guys, while Louis Tomlinson tried to make light of his Twitter feud with Zayn.
"Yeah, there's been a bit of back and forth. I think, you know, uh, we're on good terms. ... I've never been god at biting my tongue. Maybe I get it after my mom. It's just one of those things. Twitter's great for connecting with fans, but also if you feel like saying something you probably shouldn't, it's also good for that as well. It's all resolved -- all good in the 'hood, James."
