So THAT'S what happened to Huell after 'Breaking Bad'

Poor Huell. All he wanted to do was lie in that big pile of cash, and he got stuck in some crummy motel waiting for DEA agents that would never return.

To be honest, this is probably what he did the whole time (yes this fan edit does go on for a full hour):

So what did happen to Huell after Hank left him waiting only to meet his own demise? (And without notifying anyone other than Gomez either!) Showrunner Vince Gilligan finally revealed it in the official Breaking Bad book:
"Yes, sadly he's waiting morosely on that sofa, looking like a lost puppy... (Laughs) No. It's likely that Agent Van Oster keeps in touch with DEA headquarters. So when he learns Gomez and Hank have gone missing, he would in short order tell his superiors what they were up to. Within a matter of hours, really not that many in story time, Huell will be taken back to HQ. They'll question him, find out what he knows -- which isn't much -- and he'll be let out on the street. Right now, he's doing what Huell does best, whatever that is. He's out and about as a free man."
Phew, that's a relief.

We hope Huell found another snarky lawyer to work for, but one without the bad luck of working for a power-crazed meth cook. And that he spends the rest of his days rolling around in piles of money.
